Split bill calculator: who owes who
A dinner, a trip, the rent: add who paid what, and this split bill calculator divides the total equally, then shows each share and the fewest payments to settle up. It works as a group expense calculator for any number of people and any currency, right in your browser.
Trip expense splitter: keep the whole trip in one group
For a weekend away, a shared flat or a family budget, one calculation is rarely enough. In the Solvory app a group keeps every shared expense and every balance until everyone is even. See the Solvory debt tracker

Bill splitter questions
How do I split a bill with friends?
Enter each person and how much they paid; someone who paid nothing gets 0. The calculator adds it up, divides the total equally and lists who pays whom. Example: Sara paid 60, Omar paid 0 and Lina paid 30. The total is 90, so each share is 30, and Omar pays Sara 30. Lina is already even.
How does this split expenses calculator work out who owes who?
Each share is the total divided by the number of people. Whoever paid more than their share is owed the difference, and whoever paid less owes it. The biggest debt is matched with the biggest credit first, which keeps the number of payments low. Amounts are counted in cents, so the shares always add up to the total.
Can I split the bill unequally?
Not in this calculator: it splits the total equally between everyone you add. If only some people shared an expense, leave the others out of that calculation. In the Solvory app, each group expense records who took part, and it is split equally among them.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it is free and needs no account. It runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent to us.
What does the Solvory app add?
In the app, a group keeps every shared expense of a trip, a flat or a family, in any currency, and each person approves what concerns them. Balances stay up to date until everyone settles.
Does Solvory move the money?
No. Solvory is a shared record: you pay each other the way you always do — cash or bank transfer — and then mark it as paid.
Split it once, track it until it's paid
Solvory groups remember every shared expense and who still owes what.
